Topik mencakup dinamika interior bumi, teori tektonik lempeng, zona subduksi dan kolisi, pembentukan cekungan, evolusi kerak, serta siklus Wilson. Mahasiswa juga diperkenalkan pada penggunaan data geologi dan geofisika untuk menganalisis sejarah dan ekspresi geodinamika suatu wilayah. Pembelajaran dirancang untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan kemampuan interpretatif terhadap proses-proses geodinamika regional dan kaitannya dengan potensi sumber daya serta kebencanaan geologi. **CPL 1** Kemampuan untuk mengidentifikasi, merumuskan, dan memecahkan masalah rekayasa yang kompleks menggunakan metode, keterampilan, dan alat rekayasa modern yang diperlukan, serta merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi tugas dalam batasan yang ada. **CPMK 1** Mampu mengidentifikasi fenomena alam dengan menerapkan rekayasa dinamika [C4] **Pustaka** - Turcotte, D.L., & Schubert, G.
